Mitsubishi has just released the new version of new sport car concept, RA. This is just exactly what people have been waiting for from Mitsubishi. Mitsubishi Lancer Evolution performance combined with technology styled coupe car design. Mitsubishi said that the concept of this RA shows thrilling performance and environmental responsibility need not be mutually exclusive concepts.

Evo performance in a sexy coupe body.

The RA concept blends a version of Lancer Evolution X's Super-All Wheel Control (S-AWC) vehicle dynamics driveline with new sexy design of coupe sedan. Technology from Evolution which includes Active Center Differential, Active Yaw Control and Active Stability Control, active steering and active damping control for the suspension has been injected into this car. The Concept-RA also has the Lancer Evolution X's terrific new twin clutch sportronic Shift Transmission technology, which allows the driver to switch between manual shifting via paddles or the use of a full automatic mode.

Low Emission to Protect the Environment

This car engine features direct injection and MIVEC (Mitsubishi Innovative Valve lift and timing Electronic Control) variable valve timing as well as a Variable Diffuser/Variable Geometry turbocharger, which can achieve 204 bhp and 310 lb.-ft. of torque. The mitsubishi RA Concept environmental-ness comes from its new low-emissions 2.2-liter 16-valve turbodiesel 4-cylinder, which consume less gauge.

The body kit concept of this car uses an aluminum space frame for weight reductions, (aiding both handling and fuel economy), while the hood, fenders, muffler and body panels are made from impact-resistant (and recyclable) plastic resin.
